Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains clearly and plainly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your data. We do not use your audio for AI training. We do not run advertising.

1. Overview

NeuroMix AI, LLC ("NeuroMix AI," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your information when you use the NeuroMix AI platform at neuromixai.com (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not access or use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account registration data: your full name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash — we never store your password in plain text).
  • Audio files you upload to the Service for mixing and processing.
  • Settings and preferences you select when initiating a mixing session, including genre selection and target loudness (LUFS) settings.
  • Feedback you provide through thumbs up or thumbs down ratings on your mixing sessions.
  • Communications you send to us directly via email or through the Service.

2.2 Information Generated by Your Use of the Service

  • Session data: records of your mixing sessions including session ID, timestamp, processing mode, genre, target loudness, and completion status.
  • Mix plans and action reports generated by the AI for your sessions.
  • Audio metrics computed before and after processing (RMS, peak, crest factor) — these are numerical measurements, not audio recordings.
  • Usage data: number of mixes and downloads used per month, session history.
  • Technical logs: server-side processing logs used for debugging and service stability. These logs may include your IP address and session identifiers.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect payment information at this time. The Service is currently free during the beta period.
  • We do not collect or store biometric data.
  • We do not track your activity across third-party websites.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.

3. How We Handle Your Audio Files

Your audio files are the most sensitive data you share with us. We treat them accordingly.

When you upload an audio file, it is transmitted securely to our servers for processing. Your file is used solely to generate your mix — it is not listened to by humans, not analyzed for non-mixing purposes, and not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (see Section 5).

We do not use your uploaded audio files to train our AI models. Our AI was trained on synthetically generated session data, not on user-uploaded audio content. This means your music is never used to improve our models or anyone else's.

Mixed output WAV files are retained on our servers for 7 days from the date of your session. After 7 days they are permanently deleted. You are responsible for downloading your mixed audio within this window.

Original uploaded audio files are deleted from our servers promptly after stem separation and processing is complete. We do not retain your original uploads beyond what is necessary to complete your mixing session.

Session metadata (mix plans, metrics, settings) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement, support, and your session history.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide the Service: processing your audio, generating mix plans, computing metrics, and delivering output files.
  • To manage your account: verifying your email, authenticating your sessions, enforcing usage limits, and resetting passwords.
  • To communicate with you: sending transactional emails such as email verification, password reset, and session-related notifications.
  • To improve the Service: analyzing aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to understand how the Service is used and where it can be improved. This does not involve analyzing your individual audio content.
  • To diagnose and fix technical issues: reviewing server logs and session data to identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and processing errors.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service: detecting and responding to violations of our usage policies.
  • To comply with legal obligations: responding to lawful requests from government authorities where required by applicable law.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

5.1 Third-Party Service Providers

  • Music.ai: Your uploaded audio files are transmitted to Music.ai's servers for stem separation processing. Music.ai operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service. We transmit only the audio necessary for processing and do not share your account information with Music.ai.
  • DigitalOcean: Our backend infrastructure runs on DigitalOcean servers. Your data is stored on DigitalOcean infrastructure subject to DigitalOcean's data processing terms.
  • Vercel: Our frontend is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process certain request metadata in connection with serving the application.
  • Vercel Blob Storage: Mixed output audio files and model checkpoints are stored using Vercel Blob Storage.
  • Resend: Transactional emails (verification, password reset) are delivered via Resend. Resend receives your email address for the purpose of delivering these messages.

5.2 Legal Requirements

  • We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of NeuroMix AI, our users, or the public.

5.3 Business Transfers

  • If NeuroMix AI, LLC is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email or prominent notice on the Service before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include HTTPS encryption for all data in transit via Cloudflare SSL, password hashing using industry-standard cryptographic methods, access controls limiting who within our organization can access your data, and regular security monitoring of our infrastructure.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information using commercially acceptable means, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that may affect your rights and freedoms, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
